We are excited to be participating in the Savour Cowichan Festival which is a celebration of this area’s spectacular cornucopia of locally grown and produced food and drink.

We are pleased to be hosting our first annual Savour Dinner at the Farm Table Inn.

This will be a beautiful gourmet dinner made with love from Chef George Gates. Each course will be made with local food and paired with local wines, beers and spirits. Our partners so far include Riot Brewery and Alderlea Vineyards.

The Menu

First Course
Trio of the Sea (Evening Cove Oysters)
(paired with RIOT Brewery Saison Ale)

The Rockefeller
Our own farm raised smoked bacon sautéed with local organic spinach, wine & Pernod.
Topped with béarnaise and glazed.

The Migonette
Organic Cucumber combined with a fresh ground pepper vinaigrette, served fresh and on the half shell.

The Potato Nest
Potato nested, crispy fried, served with a garlic aioli and White truffl e oil.

Second Course
Trio of the Garden
(paired with Stillhead Distillery Gin Citrus Fizz)
Code’s Corner Organics Wildfi re lettuce, topped with their poached golden beets, roma tomatoes and our
own pomegranate reduction vinaigrette. Topped with housemade fresh ricotta

Third Course
Trio of the Butcher
(paired with Alderlea Vineyards 2015 Merlot)

The Lamb
Quist family farms lamb lollipop served on a bed of portebello risotto and topped with a
lamb & fresh herb jus reduction.

The Beef
Quist Family farms beef tenderloin medallion served on a bed of organic fi ngerling potato mash and topped
with a wild mushroom Espagnole Demi sauce

The Pork
Farm Table Inn raised pork belly, slow roasted with an organic honey glaze and served on a bed
of creamy polenta.
Chefs Vegetables will be served family style at each table. All local and organic.

Fourth Course
Trio of the Confectionary
(paired with Alderlea Vineyards 2006 Heritage Hearth)

The Chocolate
Classic light and creamy chocolate mousse, with cream and mint.
The Ice Cream
Homemade pumpkin spiced ice cream.
The Pear
Fresh local pear poached in red wine and topped with a ginger, saff ron, and vanilla bean glaze.

Cocktails at 6pm. Dinner at 7pm.

Shuttle service will be available for an extra fee- please inquire at time of booking. Or ask about staying in one of our beautiful B and B rooms--the Maple has a queen sized bed or the Cedar Room has two twin beds.
